New Air Serbia’s European destinations from Niš: direct flights to Vienna and Malta
10 August 2026
Air Serbia will operate direct flights between Niš and Vienna, as well as between Niš and Malta, starting from 25 October 2026, enabling passengers from southern Serbia to maintain direct air connections with these two important European destinations.
Flights between Niš and Vienna, as well as between Niš and Malta, will be available twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
“We continuously monitor passenger needs and opportunities to further improve our destination network. Through these flights, we want to provide passengers from Niš and the wider region with a reliable and high-quality direct connection to crucial European destinations. As the national airline, we strive to contribute to better connectivity between different parts of Serbia and Europe and to develop our offering in line with market needs. We believe that flights to Vienna and Malta will further contribute to the development of traffic from Niš Constantine the Great Airport,” said Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.
Vienna is one of Europe’s most important business, administrative and cultural centres, as well as a destination with which Serbia has strong historical, economic and familial ties. Direct flights from Niš will enable passengers from southern Serbia to travel more easily and quickly to the capital of Austria.
Malta is an attractive year-round destination, known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, Mediterranean climate and developed tourism offering. At the same time, it is also an important destination for business travel, education, as well as for a large number of Serbian citizens who live and work in Malta.
By adding Vienna and Malta to its network of destinations reachable from Niš, Air Serbia is further confirming its role in connecting Serbia with key European destinations and continues to develop operations from Constantine the Great Airport, providing passengers from Niš and the wider region with greater choice and the reliable service of the national airline.
Tickets for the new flights will be available through the Air Serbia mobile app, at the company’s offices, as well as through authorised travel agencies.
