Flights operated in cooperation with other airlines (code-share and interline flights) are currently not eligible forbooking with points, but will be gradually introduced in the future. No blackout dates apply - as long as seats are available, you can purchase them with points just as you would with cash. Upgrades

Upgrading from Economy to Business Class is more than just a seat change - it’s a complete transformation of your travel experience, from priority airport treatment to gourmet dining in the clouds.
•   How it works:
Upgrade to a Business class is possible for Air Serbia flights, depending on the conditions of the purchased fare and the availability of the Business class fares on booked flights. Price of the upgrade to Business class is the difference between your purchased base fare and available Business class base fare. The payment is processed through our Contact Center, as an agent will need to calculate and collect the difference in base fare and any applicable taxes. Once the upgrade is paid, you will receive a new ticket with Business class fare, and all the fare rules of the upgraded Business class fare will be applicable. Economy Light is non-exchangeable and is not eligible to be upgraded to Business class fare with ticket exchange and payment with points.

•   Seamless Process:

Subject to Availability: The number of seats available for reward upgrades is limited and subject to specific cabin availability on each flight. Even if Business Class seats appear available for purchase, we recommend requesting your upgrade as early as possible to secure your place in the premium cabin.

How many points do I need to buy a ticket?

The number of points required depends on the route, fare class and availability. You can check the exact points required by calling our Contact Center.

Which flights can I book using my points?

You can book flights operated by Air Serbia (including wet lease) for tickets starting with 115. Code share and interline currently aren’t available for booking with points but will be gradually introduced in the future.

Is it possible to use points for a partial payment of the ticket price?

Currently you can only pay with points for full ticket price, but taxes and fees are paid with money.

If I cancel a flight with Air Serbia what will happen with points I used to pay for the ticket?

To cancel a ticket booked with points, please contact our Call Center. The refund of points depends on the rules of the fare you purchased. If your fare is refundable, the eligible amount of points will be re-credited to your account, though cancellation penalties may apply. Penalties could be paid with points or money. If you purchased a non-refundable fare, the points used for the base fare will not be returned, and only the applicable taxes will be refunded in the original form of payment. During refund process, points retain their original expiration date. If that date has already passed, any expired points will not be reinstated upon refund.

Can I make changes to a ticket purchased with points?

To change a ticket booked with points, please contact our Call Center. If your fare allows changes, if there is a difference in fares, it can be paid with points or money. Change fees may apply based on the fare rules. The fees could also be paid with points or money.

What ancillary services can I buy with points?

You can use Points to purchase: Excess baggage, sport equipment, seat reservation, pets in cabin, unaccompanied minor, Air Serbia premium lounge passes, priority boarding, priority baggage tagging, priority check in, fast track, upgrades, oxygen on board, priority bundles, celebration packages.

How are my points being deducted?

Points used for redemption are deducted from your oldest points first (chronologically the eldest points).

Can I spend my points to book a ticket for someone else?

Yes, you can use your points to book a flight for anyone you like whether or not they are Elevate member. The person whose points are being spent needs to call Air Serbia Call Center.

Can I spend points to upgrade my cabin to business class?

Yes, you can. The difference in fare can be paid in points. You need to call Air Serbia Call Center.

Can taxes be paid in points?

No, you can only pay for the taxes in cash.

Do points expire?

Yes they do. For Blue status they are valid for 1 year from the day they have been accrued. For Bronze status they are valid for 2 years from the day they have been accrued. For Silver status they are valid for 2 years from the day they have accrued. For Gold status they are valid for 3 years from the day they have accrued. Award points are valid from the date of accrual until the last day of the month in which the 12/24/36-month period expires.
