Direct service between Belgrade and Seville commences today

Air Serbia has officially established a direct air route between Belgrade and Seville with today’s flight, connecting the Serbian capital with the cultural and administrative centre of Andalusia in southern Spain.

Flights between Belgrade and Seville will operate twice a week. Following the launch of direct flights to Tenerife in September, the national airline is further expanding its network in Spain with the introduction of flights to Seville. Passengers can now fly directly from Belgrade to eight destinations in the country – Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Valencia, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife and Seville.

“By introducing a direct service to Seville, we continue to boost Air Serbia’s presence in the Spanish market while offering passengers even more opportunities for travel throughout the year. Following Tenerife, which we recently added to our network, we are now directly connecting Belgrade with Andalusia, one of Spain’s most visited and culturally recognizable regions. Seville is an attractive destination both for short city breaks and as a starting point for exploring the south of the country,” said Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.

Seville is one of the most famous cities in southern Spain, renowned for its rich historical and cultural heritage, architecture, cuisine, and an inspiring flamenco tradition. Among its most significant landmarks are the Seville Cathedral, with its famous Giralda tower, the Royal Alcázar of Seville, and the General Archive of the Indies, which together form a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Plaza de España holds a particularly prominent place among the city’s landmarks and is one of Seville’s most recognisable architectural landmarks. The city is also known for its vibrant neighbourhoods, such as Triana, traditional tapas bars, and an atmosphere that makes it an appealing destination to visit year-round.
