It seems to be just a city of attractive modern architecture, gray suits and fast cars. However, Stuttgart also hides a rich cultural heritage. The Württemberg dynasty that once ruled from this city left behind magnificent courts and palaces, which are the main attractions of the old city. In the second half of the twentieth century, Stuttgart became one of the most important industrial centers in Germany and home to the giants of automotive industry – Mercedes and Porsche. That is why the famous history of these two big producers, kept in their museums, is the inevitable point of your visit to the city. The main town square Schlossplatz is the center of city life where various festivals and concerts are held throughout the year, while in winter the famous Christmas festival is held here.
