Air Serbia increases frequency of flights to Moscow
29 June 2021

Due to the great interest of passengers, starting from 5 July, Air Serbia will increase the total number of flights between the Serbian and the Russian capitals from seven to eight a week, by introducing one additional flight to Moscow on Mondays.

The Serbian national airline currently operates flights to as many as four destinations in the Russian Federation - Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don. With a total of 14 weekly flights to the aforementioned cities in July, Air Serbia represents the main entry gate to passengers from Russia, for travelling to our region and further.

"We are glad to further strengthen our presence in Russia, which is a very important market - both for Serbia, and for the region. Despite travel restrictions, we have managed to increase the number of flights to Moscow, recommence flights to Saint Petersburg and Krasnodar, and even introduce a completely new route to Rostov-on-Don. Great demand and passenger load factor on the new route showed us that it was a good business decision. We will continue to monitor demand, and adapt to the circumstances in the market quickly," said Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia.

After the temporary suspension of air transport due to the coronavirus pandemic, Air Serbia re-established the air connection with the Russian Federation on 9 November 2020.

More information about the activities of the Serbian national airline can be found on the Air Serbia Media Centre web page.
