Air Serbia welcomes and awards its 15 millionth guest
Today, only four days before the celebration of its sixth birthday, Air Serbia celebrated another historic moment and welcomed its 15 millionth guest.
Vanja Zečević from Surčin was pleasantly surprised when she was given the news while she was, together with her son Jakov, checking in at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport for the Air Serbia JU334 flight from Belgrade to Frankfurt, where she lives.
“We are very proud to have carried as many as 15 million guests during the six years of operation under the name of Air Serbia. This is another great and significant result of this year in which we have expanded our international network with the largest number of destinations so far – as many as 9 more from Belgrade and 12 from our new home airport in Niš. We are grateful to our guests for their confidence and we are ready for further expansion, in order to accommodate many more millions of satisfied guests in the coming years,” stated Air Serbia CEO Duncan Naysmith.
Representatives of Air Serbia congratulated Mrs Zečević and gifted her voucher for a free round trip ticket, which she can use to travel to any destination offered by Air Serbia.
“I cannot believe that my son and me had the good luck to win such a nice prize. Especially because I have never won a prize like that. I always fly with Air Serbia and that is why I’m glad that my national airline gave me such a wonderful present,” said Vanja Zečević.
Air Serbia will celebrate its sixth anniversary on 26th October 2019, as a regional leader in the field of commercial aviation, with 61 destinations in its network and two home airports in Serbia.
