Air Serbia launches new Warsaw route
Air Serbia, the national airline of Serbia, today launched a daily non-stop service between the European capital cities of Belgrade and Warsaw. The inaugural flight was operated with an Air Serbia Airbus A319 in its distinctive livery of red, blue and white.
Dane Kondić, Air Serbia Chief Executive Officer, said: "I am pleased to announce the re-introduction of flights between Belgrade and Warsaw after 15 years. This route between the two historic cities will be, without doubt, beneficial for both business and leisure passengers and further improve cultural, tourism and economic cooperation between Serbia and Poland. This launch is in line with Air Serbia's network expansion strategy that will expand the network to 38 destinations by the end of this year. The service will provide connectivity beyond Belgrade to other destinations on the Air Serbia and Etihad Airways network."
The service will offer connections through Air Serbia's Belgrade hub to over 24 destinations in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia, including Abu Dhabi, Larnaca, Bucharest, Istanbul, Athens, Sofia, Tel Aviv, Varna, Thessaloniki, Sarajevo, Podgorica and Skopje.
This route will continue to be operated by an Air Serbia Airbus A319 with 120 economy and eight business class seats. The Air Serbia business class stands as a unique product in Europe. The on-board service proposition has been refreshed with new menu options, a complimentary bar service and improved inflight entertainment offering more choices for guests flying with Air Serbia.
