Air Serbia announces special fares to celebrate the new Tirana route
Air Serbia, the national airline of Serbia, is launching a new route between Belgrade in Serbia and Tirana in Albania, with 3 weekly flights commencing 23 September 2014. Special fares will celebrate the occasion.
The Belgrade-Tirana promotional fares for return flights start from 99 EUR (all taxes and fees included; conditions apply) and are valid for travel between 23 September and 31 December, 2014. These special fares will be available for purchase between 31 July and 31 August, 2014.
Dane Kondić, Air Serbia Chief Executive Officer, said: "The re-introduction of services to Tirana is an exciting and significant addition to our regional network. The new services will offer our guests from Tirana increased travel options and enhanced connections over our Belgrade hub to 38 business and leisure destinations across the Balkan region, Europe and the Mediterranean. The new flights will support trade ties between Serbia and Albania, with Tirana standing as one of the emerging commercial and business centres in Southeast Europe."
The Belgrade-Tirana route provides excellent connections via the Air Serbia's hub at Belgrade International Airport Nikola Tesla to Stockholm, Brussels, Paris, Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, Rome, Prague, Stuttgart, Podgorica, Tivat, Berlin, Vienna and Zurich.
The service will be operated by aircraft ATR72. In line with the new livery and modern aircraft, the on-board service proposition has also been refreshed with new menu options, a complimentary bar service, offering more choices for guests flying with Air Serbia.
