10 May 2022

As part of the traditional Talent X survey conducted by “Poslovi Infostud”, the largest employment portal in the country, Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, has been named one of the three most preferred employers in the country. As part of an extensive survey, involving 10,887 respondents, the national airline was among the three favourite employers in Serbia, along with companies NIS and Coca-Cola HBC Srbija. Besides these three companies, the list of top 20 favourites included A1, Bosch, dm, IKEA, Telekom Srbija, Nestle, Lidl, Yettel and others. Air Serbia was awarded a special plaque at the ceremony, received on behalf of the company by GM People & Performance, Milica Netković.

"We are extremely proud of winning for the second time the award for one of the three best employers in Serbia, in a competition of as many as 100 companies. Considering the current major crisis affecting the aviation industry due to the corona virus pandemic, we are glad we have managed to maintain a deep commitment to creating a dynamic and stimulating work environment, providing equal opportunities, adequate earnings and the possibility of career advancement and development. We are happy the participants in the survey recognized this, which only confirms that we are on the right path when it comes to our attitude towards employees and towards candidates", said Milica Netković, GM People & Performance of Air Serbia.

Air Serbia pays special attention to the identification and development of talents in the organization, as well as the creation of numerous development programs that encourage personal and professional development of employees. The national airline is also actively involved in attracting young talents, through regular participation in the "My First Salary" program, as well as providing dual education opportunities to help them in their further professional development and career building. Last year, the Memorandum of Cooperation on the development of the dual model of studies in higher education was signed between the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the Aviation Academy, and Air Serbia. Through mentorship programs, it will provide future experts with an opportunity to develop their knowledge and professional competencies in the field of aviation. In addition, in April this year, Air Serbia signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade, which will enable young talents to gain their first practical experiences, and help them write research, graduate, master’s and doctoral theses.
