Air Serbia commences seasonal flights to Rhodes

Today, Air Serbia commenced scheduled service to the Greek island Rhodes with the JU760 flight. During the entire summer season, the national airline will be operating flights between Belgrade and Rhodes four times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Air Serbia’s inaugural flight was welcomed at the Rhodes Airport, the fourth largest in Greece, in a welcome ceremony in the presence of airline and airport representatives.

“We have expanded our presence in Greece at the start of the summer season and for the first time, we have added Rhodes into our network, as a seasonal destination.With our company's direct flights, the spacious beaches of Rhodes are closer than ever,” said Boško Rupić, General Manager Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia.

The city of Rhodes was founded in 408 BC. The medieval part of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built in a semicircle around the main harbor. Take a stroll along the famous Street of the Knights of Rhodes, which still has the same shape and size as it did in the Middle Ages. Visit Castello, one of the first buildings the knights erected in the old town. Visit the impressive clock tower built in 1857, which offers a beautiful view. And when you get tired of walking, choose one of the many enchanting beaches for a break.

Air Serbia offers good connections from Rhodes, via Belgrade, to Amsterdam, Berlin, Bologna, Zurich, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Ljubljana, Paris, Podgorica, Prague, Rome, Venice, Zagreb, and many other cities.
