Air Serbia to increase number of flights to Ljubljana, Paris and London
By introducing an additional flight to Ljubljana on Mondays, Air Serbia will increase the number of flights on this route from five to six per week, starting 21 June. The flag carrier of the Republic of Serbia plans to add the seventh weekly flight on Fridays as of 2 July, remaining the only airline connecting Serbia and Slovenia in the coming period.
Serbia’s national flag carrier is set to increase its Paris frequency from 11 to 12 flights per week as of 28 June, by introducing an additional flight on Mondays. Thereby, Air Serbia will ensure the best connectivity between Paris and the entire region.
By introducing another flight to Heathrow Airport on Thursdays, Air Serbia will be increasing the number of flights to London to four flights per week, starting 1 July.
"Given that the demand for air travel is on the rise, we have decided to introduce additional flights to several popular destinations in our network and provide passengers with even better connectivity. We are very pleased with the increased demand and we are proud of the fact that we are currently the only airline that connects Belgrade with Ljubljana, as well as with Paris Charles De Gaulle airport", said Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia.
A few days before the shutdown of Adria Airways in September 2019, Air Serbia increased the frequency and capacity of flights to Ljubljana, thus ensuring the connection of the Slovenian capital, via Belgrade, with the rest of Europe and the world. During the resumption of passenger air traffic in May 2020, Serbia’s national airline was the first to establish traffic with Ljubljana, and still maintains a strong presence on the Slovenian market.
Thanks to very convenient schedule, passengers will be provided with seamless connections between Ljubljana and numerous cities in Air Serbia’s network, such as - Athens, Bucharest, Dubrovnik, Istanbul, Krasnodar, Larnaca, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Split, Tirana, Tivat and Zurich.
More information about the activities of the Serbian national airline can be found on the Air Serbia Media Centre web page.
