Air Serbia flies to Split in October
02 October 2020
Due to increased demand, Air Serbia has decided to continue operating flights to Split throughout the whole October, i.e. to the end of the summer season. The initial plan was to operate flights until the end of September, but due to the interest of the passengers, the national airline will be operating flights to the biggest coastal city in Croatia for a month longer.
"The coronavirus pandemic led to the season being moved, so the interest for Air Serbia flights to more coastal destinations is greater than usual for this part of the year. That is why we have decided to fulfill the wishes of our passengers, and continue operating flights throughout October, and we will be deciding about the possibility of flights in November subsequently," stated Jiri Marek, General Manager, Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia.
During October, the national airline will be operating two flights a week from the Serbian capital to Split, on Mondays and Fridays, with take-off at 13:10. The flights will be operated using ATR type aircraft.
