Air Serbia to resume Nice service on 19 September
On 19 September 2024, Air Serbia will resume direct flights between Belgrade and Nice. The national airline will fly to the French city twice a week, on Thursday and Sunday, and the flight will last about two hours. Tickets are available as of today.
“Air Serbia introduced direct flights between Serbia and Nice in June 2019, as a seasonal service. Today, I am pleased to announce that scheduled flights to this destination will launch on 19 September. Nice is one of the most attractive cities on the French Riviera, and a very popular tourist destination in Europe. Bringing this city back into our growing network of destinations enables a fast and comfortable link, as well as good connections from Nice via Belgrade to a large number of cities around the world,” said Boško Rupić, General Manager Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia.
Nice is the tourism and economic hotspot of the Côte d'Azur. It is located on the Mediterranean coast, stretches along the entire length of the beautiful Bay of Angels, and is only a few kilometres away from Italy. It is characterised by a mild Mediterranean climate, with over 300 sunny days per year. As the leading city of the French Riviera, Nice is the epitome of the art of living. You will enjoy the azure waters of the Mediterranean, walk along the narrow streets of the old city, shopping in prestigious boutiques, classical music concerts in the Opera, gala evenings in casinos throughout the city, as well as restaurants with a Michelin star. Make sure to visit the Cours Saleya market, as well as the Colline du Chateau park, which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Baie des Anges, the old town, and the harbour.
The Serbian national airline will fly to the Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), which is located about 6 kilometres west of the city centre. It is the second largest airport in France, and handles over 14 million passengers annually. Flights to over 100 destinations and 40 countries all over the world are available from Nice Airport.
By reintroducing Nice into its network, Air Serbia will offer good connectivity to passengers from the heart of the French Riviera, via Belgrade, to Larnaca, Istanbul, Ankara, Skopje, Bucharest, Sofia, Tirana, Thessaloniki, Athens, Split, Tivat, Podgorica, Dubrovnik, Budapest, Sarajevo, Vienna and other cities.
